I Believe in Joe Hendry: The Song Behind the Merch
Most wrestlers walk out to music. I walk out to a song I wrote about myself, and it has become the line that sits on most of my merch: I Believe in Joe Hendry. Here is where it came from and where it went.
When did the song come out?
I Believe in Joe Hendry came out in 2019 as my entrance theme. It was not my first single: I C Double Me and You came out in 2013. I started making it at 15 and sang in the band Lost in Audio.
How did it reach the UK charts?
In May 2024 I ran a campaign to push the song up the UK charts. It peaked at:
- No. 4 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart.
- No. 6 on the UK Singles Sales Chart, on 3 May 2024.
Is there an album?
Yes. My debut album, Beyond Belief, came out on 5 October 2026 through WWE Music.
How does the song show up in the merch?
The title is the design. You will find it in a few forms:
- The full line: I Believe in Joe Hendry, in wide capital letters.
- The monogram: the blue-bracketed JH, with the line set underneath.
- The short version: We Believe, two words that carry the whole line.
Each design comes on tees, long sleeves, sweatshirts and hoodies, so you can wear the song to a show or anywhere else.
Which one should I pick?
If you want the whole song on your chest, go for the full line. If you prefer something quieter, the JH monogram says the same thing in two letters.
